Based in Cork City,  I have worked as a self-employed independent HR consultant since 2016, supporting and advising owner/managers in the SME Sector.  In addition, I have over twenty years HR experience in a multi-national organisation across functions including HR, Wholesale & Distribution and Production & Supply Chain with experience in the Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, Employee/Industrial Relations, Employment Law Compliance and Health & Safety areas.

I have a Business Studies Degree from University College Cork along with a Diploma in Employee Welfare and a Diploma in Employment Law from the National College of Ireland.  I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the British Psychological Society (BPS Level A & Level B) qualified on the administration and interpretation of psychometric testing and occupational personality questionnaires.  I’m also a qualified mediator accredited by the Mediators Institute of Ireland (MII).

I offer  a hands on collaborative approach to working with small and medium business owners to deliver structured policies and procedures that will enable compliance to the relevant employment legislation and support on complex HR and employee workplace issues.  I also work with business owners/CEO’s providing strategic advice and direction on employee engagement strategy and initiatives.
